Sono appassionata di tessuti a mano da più di trent'anni; sono diplomata Maestro d'Arte in tessitura. Poi ho sperimentato e cercato un approccio più meditativo e meno tecnico, la gioia di giocare con filati, colori e textures , anche secondo il metodo giapponese "Saori".
Tengo corsi a bambini e adulti.
Tesso con un grande telaio a otto licci, uno più piccolo a quattro licci e un paio di telai a pettine liccio.
Creo anche "gioielli" con i tessuti, collane, bracciali, orecchini……

I have been in love with textiles and especially with handwoven since the last thirty years.
This passion started long time ago when I was in India researching and studying handwoven textiles made by tribal women.
Then, in Italy, I graduated at a Tapestry Design and Weaving Art Institute.
I also went to New England to learn " Saori " weaving from Mihoko Wakabayashi, that enabled me to enjoy weaving as pure improvisation from the heart, with no premeditated pattern in mind.
I tried to integrate this meditative approach with our western tradition.
I am a weaving teacher to children and adults.
I weave on a big eight shaft italian loom, on a smaller four shaft and on a couple of knitters looms.
