The Iberian Peninsula – of which Spain makes up one part – is famous for its ceramic tiles and pottery; who on a mediterranean holiday hasn't seen the myriad of brightly coloured flowerpots that adorn both modern and traditional walls and patios!
This particular pot was a gift from a friend who decided to move back to Sweden and couldn't take it with her. It now holds a very special space just inside the garden gate.

The painting measures 30×24 cm (11.8×9.4"). The borders are painted a pale, pale blue, almost white and the canvas is stapled onto the back. Signature on the front, signature, date and title on the back.
